All household members (including children) should be present for the adoption process. If you have other dogs that reside in your home and you are potentially adopting a dog from PAWS Atlanta, please bring them too. We offer supervised meet & greets to ensure that everyone gets along well. Also needed is a valid picture ID and proof that your lease allows pets, if you are renting.

All household members, including current dog(s), are required to attend the adoption interview, and if you currently have pets in the household you must bring along a copy of their most current medical records with proof of vaccinations, heartworm prevention, and proof of spay/neuter.All donations to The Atlanta Dog Squad are tax-deductible. We are a not for profit 501(c)(3) charity. We are funded by private donations and adoption fees and we have no paid staff. All proceeds go directly to support our Retrievers. We also qualify for most company's matching gift programs. Check with your company to see if they have a matching program in place. If they do, just send us the paperwork. We'll do the rest!
