Cincinnati Dog Obedience Trainers and Training Facilities

(A Registered Veterinarian Technician and Owner/Handler of "Max", a German Shepard) I live in Reading, Ohio. I was first introduced to Cincinnati Canine Companion Centers by a coworker. I had done some dog training in the past with another organization, and was not particularly thrilled at the results. I had often told people I planned to go to one 8-week session. That was 6-1/2 years ago. We have trained five dogs to date: Tori, and Xena (both German Shepherds), Star (Sheltie), Pennywinkle (Pomeranian) and JC (Pomeranian, now deceased). JC (Pomeranian) was 8 years old when she started training. So, you can teach an old dog a new trick. Her first fun match she took high in trial (non-regular class). Our dogs have been or are currently training in Obedience, Agility, Fly ball, Frisbee, and even Silly Pet Tricks. Tori is also titled as TDI (Therapy Dog International).Tori, Xena, Penny and JC have CD (Companion Dog) titles, and I am currently working on Open titles. Star (Sheltie) is our granddaughter's dog and she plans to show her in the spring. I enjoy the facility and people who visit and work their dogs at Cincinnati Canine Companion Centers. Whether you just want some basic dog obedience training or dare to go on and show your dog in competitive events, Cincinnati Canine Companion Centers is the place to go! Mary Crisp

For some dogs obedience training is a must. Naples Canine Concierge, in Naples and Cincinnati offers group dog and puppy obedience training classes.

How would you like for your dog to help you out around the house and actually enjoy it? With our retrieve obedience dog training class, you can train your dog to fetch all sorts of objects around the house for you. Dogs love to help, especially when they are properly rewarded. Our professional dog trainers can help you learn how to train your dog so they can help you out.

The retrieve class is for any dog that wants to learn more than just how to go fetch a ball, but also pick up different objects around the house, like the newspaper, remote, and even go get you a drink. It is great for dogs that want or need a job to do. Having a job is sometimes what needs to happen for a dog to be fulfilled.

Any dog can learn retrieve, even if they have no desire to fetch, but of course the natural retrievers will have a lot easier time adapting. It is a great mentally stimulating exercise for any and all dogs. And if you need some help around your house, it can be pretty useful too!

The Dog Wizard of Cincinnati staffs only professional dog trainers who will give you the techniques for working with your dog to retrieve objects. You will be able to do in-home dog training with our tips. All participants must sign up in advance of the class. Contact our office to find out more about our class times and in-house dog training.

We provide Cincinnati dog training programs and classes that focus on behavioral and environmental training as well as basic obedience. Tri-State Canine Obedience is very proud of our Therapy Dog Training program. Therapy dog training is performed in a group class setting, and meets once a week for six months. We’ve designed the classes so that you and your dog are ready for all of the various situations you are likely to encounter with owning a therapy dog. Unlike some other area training facilities that perform the training quicker, we believe that the training should be about more than just getting your dog to pass the therapy dog certification test (which we do!). Our training is based on how your dog will respond in real life situations which produces some of Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky’s finest Therapy Dogs!
